Gold!

This fortnights theme for Perfect Wardrobe is Gold! So its a perfect excuse to go all out for the glitz and glam. I am wearing a necklace by ~Pepper~ which is in an Egyptian style and the detailing is really very nicely done.

I’ve also visited FaMESHed for a shopping raid and love love love this jacket from the Secret Store, so much so I’ve been wearing it since Sunday and was glad that the ~Pepper~ necklace went with it so I could blog it and not take it off for another day! I want one in RL well like one in every colour in RL.

My jeans are by [monso] for FaMESHed and I think their definitely up there with my fave SL jeans. They fit perfectly, have awesome detailing and they don’t look like I’m stuck in a random squat which is always a winner :-)

Finally I wanted to mention my lovely eyes by IKON. I’ve been wearing the same eyes for ages and ages now but have seen lots of photos and so when I spotted the Destiny Eyes at The Boutique event I decided I would try them out and I was not disappointed at all. They look very natural and for $150L for each colour pack you just cannot go wrong. I think I might go back and buy them in some different colours for some variety because I have pretty much always worn blue eyes as my eyes are blue in RL.

I think this week its a case of so many events so little time and a whole lot of going broke but its totally worth it!!!

I Wish Upon A Star

It’s Lazy Sunday’s 3rd birthday and Atiya Masala of Addiction Jewelry has released this very pretty Wish Upon a Star set in three different stones to celebrate the events birthday. Each set costs just $75L and you can buy it in Pearl, Aquamarine and Amethyst.

Surprisingly I am wearing the pearl rather than Amethyst set (given my addition to all things purple) but it goes really nicely with the Chaitra dress which is currently available at FaMESHed this month so I chose the pearl but will wear all three sets I am sure.

I am a little in love with my skin by Belleza for this weekends Fifty Linden Friday event. Its very girlie and natural looking and I thought goes perfectly with my Caprice hair by Truth.

There are lots of designers releasing items for the Lazy Sunday Birthday event and i’m off shopping to buy lots of gorgeousness!

Sun of Hope

Today’s post is a joint collaboration with my best friend Atiya Masala which means we had lots of fun hanging out and getting dressed up!!!! It’s joint because I am lazy, need blog motivation and will do anything to avoid sorting my house out in SL and Atiya has this gorgeous Addiction Sun of Hope Set available for this weeks Lazy Sunday event.

Why Do I Blog Meme

Strawberry Singh published another meme today with questions about the reason why she blogs and so I thought I’d post my own responses to.

1. How long have you been blogging? Since October 2010
2. Why did you start blogging?
I initially wanted to create a project 365 style blog of my SL fashions and adventures around the grid. That lasted quite a while before I gave up but the blog continued.
3. How many times a week do you post an entry?
It varies week to week because my RL job is quite hectic and sometimes I don’t get home until stupid o’clock in the evening but I try at least a couple of times a week.
4. How many different blogs do you read on a regular basis?
I regularly look at the Seraphim blog to see all the new releases. I also get quite a few blogs delivered to my email inbox as I am rubbish with the readers (Strawberry Singh’s, Whisper Mizin, Juicybomb, Atiya Masala amongst others)
5. Do you comment on other people’s blogs?
Yes I do some times.
5. Do you keep track of how many visitors you have?
Yes its nice to see which posts people have looked at.
7. Did you ever regret a post that you wrote?
Not really, some of the photos maybe not really any of my posts.
8. Do you think your readers have a true sense of who you are based on your blog?
I guess so, I think its obvious I love wearing purple ;-)
9. Do you blog under your real name?
No other than revealing my first name in my last meme I keep SL and RL identities seperate.
10. Are there topics that you would never blog about?
My blogs really about fashion and Second Life so I don’t think I’d discuss things like politics or current affairs really.
11. What is the theme/topic of your blog? Second Life (of course), fashion, cool sims, nice products a bit of a mish mash of things I like.
12. Do you have more than one blog? If so, why?
No I’m rubbish keeping this one up to date sometimes I dont think I could manage another blog!
13. What have you found to be the benefits of blogging?
It’s motivated me to keep my editing up introduced me to new people and inspires me to come up with new looks and ideas.
14. So, why do you continue to blog?
As well as all of the above I really enjoy the creativity as my job is very methodical without much room for creativity which I really enjoy.

Taxiii

There’s like a bazillion sales on in Second Life this weekend and my wallet is crying already but they cannot be missed!

My dress and shoes are from Hucci where there is a 50% spring sale on everything. I love Hucci and was surprised how many things I didn’t already own so stocked up.

I also want to say how great the owner Eboni is as I had a problem with an item when I accidentally clicked buy as gift and she sorted it out so quickly I couldn’t have asked for better service.

There is also a sale at PXL on the new Sophia skin for VIP group members who get 25% of purchases of the skins and make up. Just wear your group tag and the discount is applied.

The skin is very pretty and natural looking and for $900L I bought the skin with this lovely bright red lipstick and four different eyeshadows.

My hair wasn’t in a sale but is new. I really like the curls and even though my hair is naturally curly in RL I wish it looked as good as this in RL!

It’s time to grab your bag, best shopping heels and head for the taxi!!!

I couldn’t decide what to wear today and started off thinking I would wear a nice summery dress as the sun is out here still in the UK.
